Dr. Eisenberg has been actively involved in laser vision correction surgery since the FDA approved the procedure in 1995. He has studied LASIK procedures in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Over the years, he has been affiliated with 8 laser eye centers in Southern California, including the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. He has helped many of these centers set up their optometric protocols for co-managing laser vision correction patients. Dr. Eisenberg has also been a consultant for the TLC Optometric Advisory Board and served as the Optometric Liaison of the Berg-Feinfield Vision Correction Center for the Greater Los Angeles area.

Dr. Eisenberg has received a number of awards, including The Mayor's Award from the City of Los Angeles and the Vision U.S.A. Award from former president George Bush.
